Six Word Stories reaches 500 stories!

6/10/2009

A little over six months ago, I launched Six Word Stories, thinking it would be a nifty exercise for creative writers, and a fun type of content to distribute over Twitter. I never expected this little site to become so successful!

We just published our 500th story, and we’ve received nearly 5,000 story submissions from readers. We also have over 1500 followers on Twitter.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed and read our stories. Be sure to try writing a six word story of your own — it’s fun, and the best ones will be published on the front page! And be sure to share this site with your friends!
